Work with the City of San Marcos and the County of San Diego on Trails Plans.
Equine Emergency Response
TOVEA is creating a network to facilitate the quick evacuation of horses in the event of an emergency.
We coordinated emergency lodging for 60 horses in the 2007 wildfires and provided needed supplies (feed and care.)
Offer sponsorship opportunities to local businesses.
Coordinate with local organizations, businesses and clubs for mutual endeavors.
The ELCR (Equine Land Conservation Resource) 2016 - 2018 Strategic Plan is available here. It is an informative yet easy to read plan with educational information, accomplishments and future plans to conserve land for horses and the equestrian lifestyle. Our non-profit branch, the Horse Heritage Conservancy has recently been granted a 501-c3 for the same purpose of equine land preservation and education.
